Salted roes are produced primarily during the winter fisheries. Large quantities of cod arriving at the coast to spawn allow to make a variety of different roe products such as salted and sugar salted roe. Sugar salted roe holds about 12 % salt and some sugar. Hard-cured roe is fully salted and holds between 16 to 20% salt. Both products are packed in barrels of 100kg net weight.
We offer both frozen at sea roe and landfrozen product. Roe from cod, haddock, saithe and tusk are available.
